Description DEREKMDL Store Here for sale is a wonderful book with 12 prints by some of Irelands most Famous Artists.The Title of the book is 'Twelve Irish Artists'.The Book was printed in 1940 at the sign of the three candles,Dublin,and was published by Victor Waddington Publications Limited,Dublin.An introduction is given by Thomas Bodkin,who was professer of Fine Arts and Director of the Barber Insitute in the University of Birmingham.The Book gives a glimpse of the leading Irish Artists During the 1930's/40's throughout Ireland and Abroad.At the Beginning of each print a brief description is given of the Artist,Their Education,influences.where exhibited etc.In total there are 12 prints,and each of them can be seen below.All are in excellent condition apart from one by Sean O'Sullivan of W.B Yeats,which has a diagonal crease to the left of the print.The Artists who's print feature in this very nice book are: James Humbert Craig R.H.A, William Conor A.R.H.A, Grace Henry, Paul Henry, Sean Keating R.H.A, Harry Kernoff R.H.A, Charles Vincent Lamb R.H.A, Maurice MacGonigal R.H.A, Frank McKelvey R.H.A, Dermod O'Brien, Sean O'Sullivan and Leo Whelan R.H.A.  Postage for his item is worldwide just contact me for postage cost.
